I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (WA License # LF60548285) and active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I hold credentials in Washington state as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS). I am also a Clinical Supervisor in the state of Washington.
I graduated with honors from Washington State University in 2010 where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences focusing my studies on psychology, human development and sociology. I went on to study at Pacific Lutheran University where I graduated in 2012 with honors earning my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have experience providing counseling to Adults, Families, Children and Couples. I use a whole-person, systemic lens when working with clients and focuses on what each client deems most significant. I look at each individuals’ strengths as well as how their difficulties in various life domains impact their over all functioning. I work with clients to find what lights you up – whether that is a passion for coding, hiking, parenting, party planning, healthy eating, an exercise you love, spiritual practices that center you, what ever it is you love – and incorporate those things into your life more regularly. I believe that knowledge is powerful and will weave helpful information and education on mental health topics throughout sessions.
I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential. I work to empower my clients gain new skills for emotional regulation, conflict resolution, facing confrontation, overcoming shame, processing grief and loss, healthy parenting, and life transitions. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and I’m passionate about providing quality, professional therapy services to each and every client whether seeking services individually, as a couple or for their family.
